The difference between an empowerment and boudoir photoshoot

Actually some people ask what is an empowerment photoshoot and what is a boudoir photoshoot.

An empowerment photoshoot is a session that focuses on celebrating and empowering you. It highlights your unique qualities, your strengths, as well as your beauty on the outside. It can definately boost your confidence and self esteem and I hope through doing an empowerment photoshoot with me, you also start to learn to love the body you’re in. With an empowerment photoshoot, you can do it fully clothed, in your lingerie, nude or a mixture of all 3!

A boudoir photoshoot is like an empowerment photoshoot in that you’re likely to feel the same way throughout it and after it. Empowered! It is more focused on capturing a more sensual and intimate side but also promotes body confidence and giving you a boost in your self esteem.

A boudoir photoshoot is likely to be in my studio but I also do them outdoors in my own secluded spots. Your photos are usually mostly posed shots but through my guidance, I do get you moving naturally too.

An empowerment photoshoot is outdoors where again through my guidance you’re likely to end up with more natural shots but also posed shots too.

Through these photoshoots, you get to see yourself as you may have never done before and most are surprised. I think the comment I hear most when women are viewing their photos is ‘omg is that ME!? That’s me!’ They can’t believe they’d ever look like that. And you know, I don’t alter your body in any way, you see yourself as you really are!
